Illinois Board of Directors Member at U.S. Green Building Council, Office Depot Senior Analyst, Pricing, Contract Compliance & Sustainable Business Development
My mission is to understand societal challenges, bridge divides, and consciously design resilient systems and organizations that advance holistic economies, social equality, healthy communities, and environmental stewardship. We can attain this vision by having a positive attitude, building trust and respect, being curious, recognizing our own individual biases, critically thinking about the implications of our actions, and listening to and empathizing with the diverse perspectives of all people.
At Office Depot, I work at the convergence of strategy, data analysis, pricing, compliance, sustainability, and business development to help create shared value for the company, our customers, and our stakeholders.
I am a Sustaining Partner and a Board of Directors Member for the U.S. Green Building Council, Illinois. “USGBC Illinois is a nonprofit membership driven organization that advances buildings and communities that are sustainable, prosperous, and healthy. We achieve this through education, advocacy, and collaboration.”
I am a Participant, Contributor, and Advisor at CommonGround Chicago; a cross-sector, collaborative group of sustainability practitioners focused on using organizational design and change management strategies to create adaptive organizations and integrate sustainability into core business innovation.
Education, inclusion, diplomacy, teamwork, optimism, grit, and life-long learning are critically important to me. I participated in NEXT, a Foresight Design Initiative Professional Development Program. “Foresight NEXT is designed for corporate professionals motivated to gain comprehension of sustainability issues across business and the economy.” As a first generation college graduate, I earned a BA in Political Science from Indiana University.
