Andrew Predmore, Associate Director of Sustainability at Indiana University, is responsible for cultivating and growing the 2020 Transitions Lab at IU (IU’s sustainability living learning lab), including all student engagement and development programs. At IU, Predmore teaches a course on Research Methods in Sustainability that is paired with research experiences for undergraduates in sustainability. Predmore previously served as Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he taught courses on environmental planning, natural resource policy, and environmental ethics, while also serving as chair of the Campus Senate Committee on Sustainability. Predmore earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation and has an extensive record in sustainability research, having published peer-reviewed papers in the Journal of Forestry, Society and Natural Resources, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Innovative Higher Ed, among others.
