The CommonGround Chicago vision is to build a regional network of sustainability leaders and to help continually refresh our individual and collective vision, energy, and impact in ways that are well-attuned to the times.

This highly rated event brings together a group of sustainability leaders, change agents, and professionals who represent a cross-section of organizations.

Each year our program evolves as our regional network expands and deepens in its own journey. We continue to converge best-in-class content that has been validated through executive education programs offered at Harvard University as we also increase the level of participant-driven content and engagement.

The value proposition of CommonGround is high for anyone seeking tangible approaches for increasing their leadership and change agent abilities. Content, case studies, and activities specifically address and advance a crucial new sustainability leadership role focused on transforming organizations and communities to achieve a radical increase in: the flow of new ideas; group intelligence and learning; effective de-risking; complex stakeholder engagement; organizational agility; and shared purpose.

CommonGround and the new leadership practice it is helping to scale up is now more crucial than ever. This is the necessary alternative to rigid, reactive, and divisive top down leadership approaches that we are now witnessing taking hold in response to mounting 21st century pressures.

Why tiered pricing? Our alumni have told us they very strongly value the cross-sector experience at CommonGround Chicago 2017, and the only way we can provide that, with full participation from government and non-profit organizations, is to subsidize the cost of their attendance. This has led to our going to a tiered pricing model for 2017. ISSP members receive a $100 discount for a corporate registration and a $50 discount for a higher education registration.
